This is the first year that I experience spring in my new home south of Wheatland--what there was of it, like two days' worth. It seemed like winter morphed into summer with now in-between; accordingly, my springtime gardening took a beating.
Hence, for this year, I'e settled on container gardening, from flowers planted in pots to spuds in a raised garden bed. My tomatoes, too, are growing in containers. We'll see how it all works out.
The pics below begin with trucked-in road fill to shape up the driveway. Behind the tomato plant you catch a glimpse of one of my three raided garden eds.
